Frequently Asked Questions

Himachal offers a rare mix of snow-capped Himalayan peaks, Tibetan culture in McLeodganj, riverside campsites in Kasol and Jibhi, and the stark cold-desert beauty of Spiti Valley, all within a short and comfortable travel distance from North India.

March to June is ideal for Manali, McLeodganj, and Kasol with pleasant weather. Spiti Valley is best visited between June and September when the high mountain roads are open.

The nearest major airports are Kalka, Chandigarh, and Bhuntar (Kullu), all well connected by road to Manali and Dharamshala. You can also take an overnight Volvo bus or train up to Chandigarh and continue by road.

Indian nationals do not require permits for Manali, McLeodganj, Kasol, or Jibhi. However, Spiti Valley involves high mountain passes, so we recommend booking with adequate acclimatization days built in.

The McLeodganj Triund Trek is considered easy to moderate, covering about 9 km one way, and is suitable for beginners with a reasonable level of fitness.

Yes! Both our Manali Tour and Manali Trek include a Solang Valley excursion along with optional activities like paragliding and snow scooter rides, subject to weather and road conditions.

Absolutely. Himachal is one of the most tourist-friendly and peaceful states in India, with locals accustomed to welcoming travellers year-round, including large numbers of solo and family visitors.

Spiti is a high-altitude cold desert with a landscape closer to Ladakh than the green valleys of Manali, dotted with centuries-old monasteries like Key and Dhankar, so it suits travellers looking for a more remote, offbeat experience.

For Manali, McLeodganj, and Kasol in summer, light layers with one warm jacket for the evenings are enough. For Spiti Valley or winter travel, pack heavy thermal wear, down jackets, and proper trekking shoes.

The Jibhi Tirthan Kasol trek was exactly the offbeat, riverside escape we wanted. Quiet cafes, pine forests, and the Parvati riverside camp were a lovely touch!

Booked our Spiti Valley trek at the last moment but everything was arranged flawlessly despite the remote terrain. The coordination crew was available 24/7 on WhatsApp. 10/10 service structure!
