Itinerary

Day 1 Leh Arrival — Acclimatization Day +
  • Upon arrival in Leh, head to your hotel.
  • Check-in & meet your Trip Leader and Co-Travelers.
  • Spend the day acclimatizing to the high altitude and explore the city at your own pace.
  • Explore the local market of Leh while strolling and drooling around.
  • Enjoy the dinner and rest.
Day 2 Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hills & Sangam +
  • Visit Hall of Fame, a museum dedicated to the Indian Army's heroic efforts.
  • Visit Magnetic Hills, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Sangam (confluence of Indus & Zanskar River) & the imposing Shanti Stupa.
  • Explore the bustling local markets & cafes.
  • Reach hotel by evening; dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3 Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardung La +
  • After breakfast, head to Khardung La Pass (one of the highest motorable roads in the world).
  • On the way to Nubra Valley, visit Diskit Gompa (Buddha statue).
  • Explore the sand dunes (cold desert of India) and take a camel safari on Bactrian double-humped camels, found only in cold desert regions.
  • Check in to the camps, have dinner and sleep overnight in Hunder.
Day 4 Nubra Valley to Turtuk to Nubra Valley +
  • Have breakfast and head to Turtuk, situated just a few kilometers from the Line of Control.
  • Turtuk is a remote village of about 4000 residents, home to an ethnic Muslim community, and is known for its fruit (especially apricots).
  • Head back to Hunder camps by evening.
  • Enjoy your sleep after dinner.
Day 5 Nubra Valley to Pangong Tso via Shyok Valley +
  • After breakfast, enjoy a picturesque drive to Pangong Tso.
  • On the way, witness the sheer beauty of Shyok Valley.
  • Pangong Tso ("Lake of Great Hollow") is the world's highest saltwater lake at 13,862 ft — marvel at the changing colors of the lake surrounded by towering mountains.
  • Enjoy the stay near the lake, have dinner and go stargazing at its best.
Day 6 Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La +
  • Wake up to witness a mesmerizing sunrise.
  • Have breakfast and head back to Leh.
  • Visit Chang La Pass, the 2nd highest motorable road in the world at 17,688 feet.
  • Visit Shanti Stupa.
  • Enjoy your evening with a backpack full of lifetime memories with your newly made friends.
  • Have dinner and sleep overnight in Leh.
Day 7 Departure from Leh +
  • Have breakfast and depart to the airport with some amazing memories of the trip.
