About the Trip

Ride the legendary Manali-Leh-Manali circuit — one of the most iconic road trips in the world. Starting from Delhi, cross the Atal Tunnel into Lahaul Valley, conquer high passes like Baralacha La and Tanglang La, explore the war memorials and monasteries of Leh, ride over Khardung La into Nubra Valley, and take in the ever-changing blue of Pangong Tso — all over 8 nights and 9 days, with a team captain, mechanical backup, and full support throughout.

Itinerary

Day 0 Departure from Delhi to Manali +
  • We depart from Delhi around 6 PM in an AC Volvo vehicle.
  • Pit stop for dinner at a decent roadside restaurant en route.
Day 1 Manali Local Sightseeing — Overnight Stay at Manali +
  • Check in to the hotel, freshen up and have breakfast, followed by a short trip briefing.
  • This day is kept for acclimatization purposes.
  • Later, head out for self-exploration of Manali — Vasishta Temple, Hadimba Temple, the Mall Road, and Jogini Waterfall.
  • Come back to the hotel; an early night to rest and prepare for the upcoming adventure.
  • Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Manali to Sarchu — Overnight Stay at Sarchu +
  • Wake up early, have breakfast and check out of the hotel.
  • Start the much-awaited Ladakh journey on the famous Leh-Manali Highway.
  • Cross the Atal Tunnel to enter Lahaul Valley.
  • Cross Darcha and Baralacha Pass for enormous panoramic views.
  • Reach Sarchu by evening; overnight stay in camps under a million stars.
Day 3 Sarchu to Leh — Overnight Stay at Leh +
  • Wake up, have breakfast and check out of the camps.
  • A day of high passes — cross the Gata Loops, followed by Nakee La and Lachung La.
  • Reach Pang by afternoon and enjoy lunch in these gorgeous plains.
  • Later, cross Tanglang La (second highest pass in the world) to reach Leh.
  • Evening free for leisure and acclimatization; overnight stay in Leh.
Day 4 Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hills & Pathar Sahib Gurudwara — Overnight Stay at Leh +
  • Post breakfast, head out to explore the region.
  • Visit the Hall of Fame Museum, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic Hills, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara and the Indus Confluence.
  • Explore the local market and cafes, and shop a little if you'd like.
  • Strike a conversation with a local to know more about the culture and history of the place.
  • Return to the hotel by evening; dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 5 Khardung La - Hunder - Nubra Valley - Diskit — Overnight Stay at Nubra Valley +
  • Wake up, have breakfast at the camps, and check out.
  • Head for the beautiful Nubra Valley via Khardung La — the highest motorable road at 5,359 m.
  • Find yourself surrounded by the Karakoram and Ladakh ranges of the Himalayas.
  • Check in to the hotel and visit the sand dunes (cold desert of India); take a camel safari (self-paid).
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 6 Nubra to Pangong Tso Lake via Shyok Valley — Overnight Stay at Pangong Tso +
  • Wake up to see the first rays of the sun falling on the mighty Himalayas.
  • Post breakfast, head to Pangong via Agham and Shyok villages.
  • Pangong Tso is a high-altitude alpine lake, fascinating for the way it changes color with the surroundings.
  • Reach Pangong Lake by evening and check in to the campsite.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Pangong.
Day 7 Pangong Tso to Leh via Chang La — Overnight Stay at Leh +
  • Wake up early morning to witness a mesmerizing sunrise.
  • After breakfast, head back to Leh.
  • Enroute, visit Chang La — the 2nd highest motorable road in the world at 5,350 m.
  • Reach Leh by evening and self-explore the local market/cafes since this is the last day in Leh.
  • Shop something for your friends and relatives back home; dinner and overnight stay in Leh.
Day 8 Journey Back to Manali — Overnight Stay at Jispa +
  • Post breakfast, head towards Jispa for the overnight stay.
  • We take the same route that was used to reach Leh from Manali.
  • Reach Jispa by evening; overnight stay in Jispa.
Day 9 Jispa to Manali — Departure from Manali to Delhi +
  • Wake up early morning and, post breakfast, depart for Manali.
  • Reach Manali and depart for Delhi by evening.
Day 10 Reach Delhi by Morning +
  • Reach Delhi by morning with amazing trip memories.
